 Hello World,

This past week marked the beginning of my journey into the computer science program at California State University, Monterey Bay (CSUMB). It's been a whirlwind of excitement mixed with a healthy dose of anxiety, especially about the group work, which has proved to be a unique challenge.

One thing I deeply appreciate about CSUMB is its proactive approach in encouraging students to not only learn but also to share their journey. I welcome being spurred to create blogs, LinkedIn profiles, and leverage other platforms to showcase my experience, as I had put those off for far too long!

Finding the time to reflect feels fleeting as I've doubled my coursework here at CSUMB. Additionally, I'm taking three more classes elsewhere to complete an AWS certification. All this while working and juggling everyday life with my supportive and amazing wife and three wonderful kids. It’s overwhelming, but pressure makes diamonds right?

This blog will serve as a platform to reflect on my experiences, challenges, and victories throughout this program. I intend to meet these challenges head-on and hope to inspire and be inspired by others on similar journeys.
